Would You Like to Know a Little Bit About Me?

When was I born? Back in the 1960's.
Where was I born? Mount Vernon, New York.
Where did I grow up? I grew up in Larchmont, New York until I was thirteen. From thirteen until twenty-one, I lived in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.
Family? When I was growing up, my family included my mom, my dad, and my sister, Carey.

Additions since then include my husband Bill and my fabulous stepdaughters Jessica and Alex. As a bonus, my sister’s family, which includes her husband Rich and the always amazing Emily, Andrew, and Derek, live fairly close to us.

Do you have pets? Lots! My family has always had dogs, cats, and, when I was growing up in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, chickens and a beloved horse named Mr. Beau Jangles.

These days, we have four cats (Boo, Dusty, Springer, and Tazo Chai), a dog (J.D.), and Alex's rat (Stella).

Where did I go to school? Murray Avenue School and the Hommocks School in New York. Readington Middle School and Hunterdon Central High School in New Jersey, Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, Virginia.

Where do you live now? In beautiful Branchburg, New Jersey.

My favorite things to do back when I was growing up? Horseback ride, horseback ride, and horseback ride some more. Oh, and spend time with my friends!

What did I do after graduating college? I got a job in New York City as a writer and editor of textbook materials for elementary school classrooms.

What is my favorite book? I love to read and love lots of books, but To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is my favorite.
